Wireless lockdown alarms
Lockdown systems help protect children, staff, and the public in schools, nurseries, and workplaces by enabling rapid activation through wireless panic buttons. They provide immediate alerts to secure doors and stay safe until the situation is resolved, offering reassurance in emergencies.
With the increase in violent crime and disruptive behavior, many organizations are adopting lockdown systems to safeguard vulnerable people and staff. When activated by a panic button, these systems transmit a wireless signal to notify staff to secure doors and remain in place until it is safe to leave. Alerts can be customized with sirens, bells, or flashing LEDs to meet different needs.
They are quick to install, especially where drilling is not possible, such as areas containing asbestos, and are also ideal for temporary classrooms or construction sites. Each system can be tailored with multiple receivers and panic buttons based on your specific requirements.
As part of upcoming security legislation, including Martyn’s Law, organizations are increasingly expected to enhance protective measures. Please contact us to discuss a custom solution for your setting.
