KP Wireless Magnetic Contact & Vibration Sensor

Wireless Magnetic Door & Window Contact & Vibration Sensor, designed to help secure vulnerable doors & windows, works in conjunction with our full range of KP Wireless Alarms.

It is designed to be used on both Doors & Windows, and will activate if these are opened or if they are attacked and violently shaken.

It has a 240 ft (line of sight) back to the Wireless Receiver and is powered by a single 3v Coin Cell.

The standard practise of installing these contacts onto a Door or Window is shown below, although these are only a guideline, unusual door and windows may sometimes require a slightly different approach:

1. Ensure the battery is inserted into the contact switch.
2. Using double sided tape (supplied) install the contact (switch) to the top edge of the door or window, on the inside of the property and close to the hinge end.
3. Using double sided tape, install the small magnet onto the door frame, when the door or window is closed the magnet needs to be nearly touching the side of the contact switch (top or bottom end).
4. Turn the Switch ON.
5. Open the door or window, and check for a small red light illuminating on the switch.
6. Once the red light can be seen clearly illuminating on each occasion the door is opened it is time to test the alarm.
7. Arm the alarm panel, wait for the alarm to be fully armed (allow for the correct delay times).
8. Open the door and ensure the alarm is triggered, them disarm the alarm.
