Battery PIR
Additional Battery Powered DA600+ Wireless PIR, ideal for locations where Solar Charging may be impractical, can be used with all of our DA-600 Driveway Alarms and our Solar Powered Perimeter Alarms.
The Wireless operating range between the PIR & Receiver is 1000 ft (line of sight), which equates to around 450 - 600 ft in most applications (more than enough for most domestic applications) but can be more than doubled by adding a Signal Repeater if required.
The Weatherproof Battery Powered PIR is ideal for locations where Solar Charging may be impractical or unwanted, they can be used both Outside & Inside (ideal to help protect outbuildings at the same time as monitoring your Driveway & Garden).
Powered by 3 x AA Batteries (supplied), which will operate in most domestic applications for 9 - 12 months and has a 45 ft detection range and an elongated lens designed to help avoid detecting small ground animals.
The ideal position for mounting the PIR is around 3 - 5 ft from the ground, aimed level (not towards the ground).
The PIR has 2 sensitivity settings to help suit different applications.
