Ultra Secure Direct have a range of Door Alerts & Alarms designed to inform you when your Fire Door has been opened, this can be a problem in a lot of business premises due to the fact you cannot lock these doors, it may be staff or visitors using the door without permission.

Typical applications are:

  • The list is Endless.

We have our bespoke Wireless & Wired Fire Door Positioning Alerts which have a clear Green LED informing you the Fire Door is properly closed, in the event of it being opened a Buzzer will activate on the Control Panel together with the Green LED turning OFF and a RED LED illuminating.

Wireless Fire Door Positoning Alert:

These Wireless systems are very quick and easy to install, the Control Panel is powered by a plug in Transformer and can be mounted up to 800 metres (line of sight) away from the Fire Door, this normally equates to around 100 - 400 metres in most applications once you have taken into account all of the Walls & Fixtures.

When the Fire Door is opened a Buzzer will activate for 10 seconds (adjustable from 1 second to 10 minutes) on the Control Panel together with a Green LED switching OFF and a RED LED switching ON.

As soon as the Door is closed, the Green LED will illuminate and the RED LED will turn OFF.

We can also add additional Fire Doors to the system upon request.

We can make changes to this set up for you, options may be:

  • The Buzzer staying ON, untill the Door is closed.
  • The Buzzer being replaced by a Wired or Wireless Siren.
  • A large Flashing LED could be added.
  • A Telephone Auto-Dialler (land-line or gsm) being added.
  • The list is Endless.

Wired Fire Door Positoning Alert:

The Wired Fire Door positioning Alert works very similar to the Wireless Model, but the Buzzer stays ON whilst the Door is Open.

The downside is that you have to run a cable from the Control Panel to the Fire Door/Doors.

If you need to switch the system OFF, you simple turn the power supply OFF to the Control Panel, this is normally no problem as the Control Panel would be located in a safe location with a member of staff, however we can make changes to this if required.

Standard Wireless Door Alerts & Alarms:

Apart from the bespoke Fire Door Positioning systems, we also carry a range of Wireless Alarms that can be used on Fire Doors, these include:

  • Wireless Smart: This 8 x channel Control Panel can be set to provide a single Chime or a Siren with an adjustable duration together with latching ON a Flashing LED on the screen until it is reset. operational range is 150 metres (line of sight).
  • XL: This 4 x channel Control Panel will beep when the Fire Door is opened, and keep beeing until it has been closed, operational range is 80 metres (line of sight).
  • KP9 Std: This 99 x channel Control Panel can be programmed to give a double Chime if the Fire Door is opened, or a Siren which can be adjusted from 1 - 16 minutes, operation range is 100 metres (line of sight) although this can be doubled by adding a Signal Repeater.
  • KP9 GSM: This 99 x channel Control Panel is the same as the KP9 Std Alarm (as listed above) together with being able to contact up to nine key-holders by Telephone & Text, the Siren can be switched OFF if not required.

UltraDial:

We also have our Battery powered Stand-alone GSM Door Alert (UltraDial) for Remote Fire & Access locations, this device is powered by 3 x AA Lithium Batteries and will contact up to three key-holders by Telephone & SMS if the Door is opened, the Magnetic Door Contact used can be either a Wired or Wireless model. Ideal for even the most isolated Fire or Security Door.
