This Battery Powered 4G UltraPIR Alarm has been put together to suit a typical Narrow Boat although additional accessories can still be added, the kit includes:

• 1 x Battery Powered 4G UltraPIR (this will contact up to 3 x key-holders by telephone & text message if triggered) with or without an active Siren.
• 1 x Battery Powered Standard PIR (this has a built in 130 decibel Siren and works in conjunction with the 4G UltraPIR).
• 2 x Remote Controls (these will Arm & Disarm both PIR's at the same time).
• 2 x 'This Boat is Alarmed' Window Stickers.

The two PIR's allow you to protect the Boat from the Bow & Stern, they work within the same unique & secure Wireless Network, if one is triggered then both will be triggered.

The Battery powered BT PIR & 4G UltraPIR both have built in Sirens, but the Siren on the 4G UltraPIR can be turned OFF for customers wanting this device to be more covert (whilst it is contacting key-holders by Phone & Text). 

Additional Sensors:

This 4G UltraPIR Burglar Alarm can also be expanded by adding additional BT PIR's, Magnetic Door/Window/Hatch Contacts, Vibration Sensors (no limit to how many can be added) which would also be connected by the same unique & secure Wireless network.

Sirens:

You can also add additional Wireless Sirens (Internal or External) if you want more sound.

The Wireless range between the 4G Alarm, Sensors & Sirens is 300 ft (line of sight) which equates to around 120 - 150 ft in most applications, so no problem in any Boat  (all accessories can be found in the accessory tab within this listing).

Programming:   

This Alarm is very easy to program (probably one of the easiest 4G or GSM Alarms on the market today) by using the built in Keypad.

Communication:

The 4G Alarm communicates via the mobile phone networks (standard size sim card required) and will contact up to three key-holders by Telephone (with your own pre-recorded message) & Text Message when activated (phone calls or text can be turned off if only one method of communication is required).

You can purchase the product with no sim card and simply use your preferred supplier (no data is required).

Arming & Disarming: 

The Alarm system is Armed & Disarmed by using the two Remote Controls supplied (from up to 300 ft away), additional Remote Controls can be added.

Receiving a Call:

When the Alarm calls the key-holders, there is the choice to:

• Listen to your pre-recorded message and do nothing (the alarm will then contact the other key-holders).
• Listen to your pre-recorded message and press # on your telephone (this will disarm the PIR and prevent it from calling further key-holders).
• Listen to your pre-recorded message and press * on your telephone (this will turn the siren off, prevent it from calling further key-holders, but keep the PIR fully armed (ready for further activations).

Power:

The 4G UltraPIR Alarm is powered by 3 x standard AA Batteries (supplied) and typical battery life would be 12 - 18 months in most applications (depending on how often the Alarm is triggered), this is ideal for a Boat application as there is no drain on the domestic Batteries.

The BT PIR is powered by 3 x AA batteries.

You can choose to fit Lithium AA Batteries which will outlast a Duracell Alkaline Batteries by about 4 - 6 times together with performing far better in temperatures below freezing.

You can if practical power the 4G UltraPIR with a plug in transformer or suitable 5v USB connection, the batteries can still be fitted into the UltraPIR which will then operate the device if the power supply is interrupted (3 or 2 pin available).

Detection:

The Alarm system has a 30 second exit delay (plenty of time to leave the building and lock up) and a 5 second entry delay (normally disarmed from outside the building before entering). The PIR has a 30 ft distance, 120 degrees horizontal & 90 degrees vertical detection pattern.

Low Battery:

The Alarm will send you a Text Message if the Batteries are getting low (this can be turned off).

This is a unique and versatile 4G Alarm that can be used in more internal applications than can be listed (if external use is required we can supply the UltraPIR inside a Birdbox or with a Rubber Hood.
